Having digested today’s announcement regarding the possible closure of Doncaster Sheffield Airport, we would like to give the following update to our valued Club Members and customers.
In the short term there will be no change to the YAC operation which will continue to operate from both our DSA and Sandtoft Airfield bases. In the disappointing event of a cessation of flying activities at DSA in the autumn, we will reallocate all club assets into our Sandtoft base and continue to invest in order to provide the best service possible to our Club Members and customers. All that we know for sure, is whatever the outcome at DSA, Yorkshire Aero Club will continue to be the number one provider of professional yet friendly flying to the people of Yorkshire and surrounding regions, in to 2023 and beyond!
